Series 200 pressure transmitter
HNL’s Series 200 pressure transmitter uses a microprocessor to provide
a 4-20mA output proportional to the input pressure. Ranges are available
from 0 to 100mBar up to 0 to 1000 Bar in either gauge or absolute
pressure.
The transmitter is loop powered (2 wire system) from a 24Vdc supply.
The input pressure to the transmitter is applied to a metal diaphragm that
transmits the pressure to the silicon pressure transducer using a silicone
oil fill.
The 4-20mA output has a 5:1 turndown (i.e. the 4-20mA output may be
obtained over just 20% of the pressure range of the transmitter) and the
zero may be offset by up to 80% of the range.
Calibration is carried out using pushbuttons inside the enclosure.
Simply apply the pressure that is required to give a 4mA output and press
the green pushbutton. Then apply the pressure that is required to give a
20mA output and press the red pushbutton.
Other settings can be selected using the four DIP switches inside the
enclosure as follows-
- Sets Output to a constant 4mA.
- Sets Output to a constant 20mA.
Options 1 and 2 are for
calibration but may also be used for testing of external circuit.
- Output signal is reversed giving a falling output current (20 - 4mA)
for a rising input pressure.
- Applies square root extraction (generally only used on DP
transmitters to provide an output proportional to flow).
Accuracy Linearity error : Ranges up to 10 Bar +/-0.15%
typical, +/-0.35% max. Ranges above 10 Bar +/-0.15% typical, +/-0.25% max.
Temperature coefficient: 0.01% per ºC within range -20 ºC to +80
ºC.
Power Supply Nominal power supply 24Vdc, 30mA. Minimum supply
voltage 12Vdc.
Notes: On absolute ranges the P in the range code would be
replaced with PA. For ‘Higher Proof Rating’ the P or
PA in the range code would be replaced with PH or
PHA. A large number of flanged and chemical seal connections
are available as special options. Please contact HNL Technical Sales for
details. |
