Multipoint TC/RTD assemblies used for Measurement
of temperature, at different locations and elevations, simultaneously,
whilst maintaining the response time, and expected level of accuracy,
is our specially manufactured product.
Pyro 900 Series of Multipoint Thermocouple/Rtd Assemblies
cater largely to critical applications such as
- Measurement of Temperature profile in reactors and
regenerators
- Measurement of Catalyst Temperature within the tube
reactors
- Measurement of Temperature of fluids within the
storage tanks/bullets
The individual thermocouples are terminated into a
flameproof(EExd IIA/IIB or IIC) or Weatherproof Junction Box; or individual
terminal heads. The junction box can be located directly on the Multipoint
Assembly or surface mounted away from the reactor through lead out wires
enclosed in a flex hose.

and manufacture of Special multipoint assemblies.

AA)Multipoint Assemblies with MI thermocouples brought
in through a threaded & flanged process connection for direct contact
with process medium
FEATURES
- Relatively simpler design
- Faster response since thermocouples is in direct
contact with process medium
- Assembly can be offered with flanged or screwed
process connection
- Use of various types of seals with SS follower to
ensure leak tight connection.
- Choice of various cold end design such as flexible
extension with plug and jack for intricate and remote installation.
This also enables easy dismantling of the assembly during shutdown or
refurbishment.

BB)Multipoint Assemblies with Thermowells/Protecting
tube for each element
FEATURES
- Individual protecting tube for each element
- Protecting tubes are welded to the flange and are
provided with extension spool piece for cold end termination junction
box.
- Design is relatively simpler in nature
- Permits change of element during operation

CC)Multipoint TC/RTD Assemblies in a common thermowell
FEATURES
- Use in tube reactors, where size of catalyst tube
is relatively small , and the overall dimension of thermowell becomes
a critical factor
- Assemblies with 20 thermocouples in a overall diameter
of 4.5mm & with 10 thermocouples in a overall diameter of 3.2mm have
been manufactured and supplied by us.

DD)Multipoint Assemblies with guide tube for each element
enclosed in a Thermowell.
FEATURES
- Highly intricate assembly consisting of individual
guide tubes to guide the thermocouple to the measuring location.
- Guide tube fits into contact plug, which is TIG
welded to thermowell wall ensuring quick heat transfer to the sensor.
- Assemblies with 27 measuring points with individual
guide tubes enclosed in a 2 1/2"Nb thermowell have been designed and
supplied by us
- Various rigid and flexible cold end terminations
are available to suit practically any installation.
