Bi-metallic, Mercury or Gas filled thermometers provided with an adjustable connector and a drilled bar-stock flanged well as shown above is a typical design specified by M/s Engineers India Ltd.

The complete assembly can be supplied in SS316 material grade to resist atmospheric corossion.

Thermowells are available in standard AISI 300 series stainless steel grades or AISI400 Series ferritic grades as well as in exotic materials like Incoloy 800, Inconel 600, Monel 400 or Hastelloy alloys B and C, and flanges in ASTM grades A105, A182 and A350 and in sizes 3/4" to 2"(DN 20 to DN 50).

The assembly shown above is that of a Mercury-in-steel temperature gauge with thermowell. Bi-metal or Gas filled gauges can also be supplied if specified.
