Bi-metallic, Mercury or Gas filled thermometers shown in this leaflet are provided with an adjustable connector and a drilled bar-stock weld-in well with stepped shank.

The complete assembly can be supplied in SS316 material grade to resist atmospheric corossion.
Thermowells are available in standard AISI 300 Series stainless steel grades or AISI400 Series ferritic grades as well as in exotic materials like Incoloy 800,Inconel 600, Monel 400 or hastelloy alloys B&C.

weld-in wells are provided with a cylindrical head suitable for welding into a socket weld or a straight through socket .
The assembly shown above is that of a Bi-metallic temperature gauge with thermowell. Mercury or Gas filled gauges can also be specified.
